Plumbing issues fixed at Dodd Stadium

Preseason concerns about the plumbing at Dodd Stadium have been addressed, the Norwich Baseball Stadium Authority said Wednesday.

Gary Schnip, who heads the operations committee, told the authority that water fountains and toilets have been repaired at a cost of slightly less than $20,000. Team officials had told the authority in May that about a third of the toilets had not been functioning.

The authority will meet next at 6 p.m. Aug. 18 at Dodd Stadium.
